Wee Bobbys World: Baby Bobby

A Normal Day

Wee Bobby never fails to whinny hello when he sees us coming up the track!If you call his name,he will call back!I love to think hes pleased to see me!
He likes to run straight to you then at the last moment,swerve and run right past!
A quick shout of "whats this?"will make him skid to a halt and saunter back as if he was of course coming to you in the first place!
Down to the barn and straight to his place,he demands to be fed,(he would shove me up the ladder to the hay loft if he could)he gets a small amount in a bucket and some hay.He then amuses himself by stretching over and whipping Camries bucket out from under his nose and shoving it out of reach!
A quick tidy,(today i noticed his tail was growing along the ground again,so snipped it,)hooves picked,replenishing of the baby oil on his back(preventative rain rash treatment)and hes sorted.
His other source of amusement is to see how many humans he can intimidate by telling them hes a wild horse and likely to bite and kick!
The look of disappointment on his face when hes told to "give it a rest Bobby"is really comical.
I hasten to add that he doesnt bite or kick,though he will put a hoof on your foot and rest it there if you stand next to him,or hook his foreleg round your leg.
When its time to be turned out to the hill field he will try to find excuses to stay at the barn.He is efficient at "housework"so sometimes we leave him to tidy up.He neatly deposits all his droppings in the one heap to!
Theres never a dull moment with Bobby,even on a normal day he makes me smile and laugh.
